10/12 - Democratic Republic of Congo

A New Land

What's it like to visit a new area of the world that you have never experienced before? A land that you know has been ravished with civil war and violence. Sound a little scary or adventurous? Likely, a little but of both.

A team of World Gospel Mission missionaries have been traveling into the Congo from Arua, Uganda. They have made contact with the national church and found that the remaining pastors living in Congo are desperate for help. This land and its people are looking for hope. A kind of hope that can only be found in our Lord. As WGM determines if this could be the next area of outreach won't you pray for those who know that Jesus is Lord as they shine their lights in a land that desperately needs to know Him? And pray for those pastors and WGM staff as they research ways WGM might be able to help reach others with the Good News of Salvation?

We only have two days left of the Concert. Won't you join us tomorrow as we pray for the field of Paraguay? See you at the Concert!
